The 15th edition of Sicam 2024 has just ended and has been renamed as the largest edition ever! Ten pavilions, 20 thousand square meters, more than 690 exhibitors of which 68% were Made in Italy.
More than 9,000 visiting companies arrived from 113 countries, numbers that continue to grow, year after year Sicam confirms itself as the expo of accessories and semi-finished products par excellence in the furniture industry.
ICRO participated by bringing color and sustainability, both at the production level and in terms of brand actions, so much so that it wanted to highlight the actions the group has taken throughout the year;
- Promoting the adoption of renewable energy sources, thanks to the installation of major solar and photovoltaic systems at the Bergamo and Cinto Caomaggiore sites. These systems are contributing to the production of clean energy, reducing the environmental impact by leading the company toward increasingly sustainable production.
- Planting 700 Paulownia trees. The choice of Paulownia its exceptional environmental characteristics; CO2 absorption, air purification, absorption of heavy metals, rapid growth finally it produces honey and helps pollination.
- Providing low-emission products for furniture, kitchens and floors. ICRO’s new range of low-emission paints has been formulated to meet the needs of even public and contract projects where attention to emissions plays an increasingly important role.
- Calculate carbon dioxide emissions for each product, concerning furniture and kitchen paint products. Interested results that allow ICRO, when formulating a product, to consider not only performance and cost but also environmental impact.
The first edition of Beauty to Business Summit, an event organized by Promoberg and dedicated to the cosmetics industry, in the heart of the Beauty Valley, also ended successfully on Thursday, Oct. 17, attracting more than 2,000 industry professionals.
The debut in Bergamo stems from the desire to enhance an area that, together with MIlano, Cremona, Monza and Pavia, is universally recognized as “the Italian cosmetic Valley”, because it is in that context that the largest industrial production of cosmetics is concentrated.
The main sectors that animated the fair were: suppliers of raw materials and ingredients, personal care products, packaging solutions, machinery, equipment and services.
ICRO participated with its COSMETIC division along with partner Falcolor and 50 other exhibitors, bringing a complete range dedicated to packaging, available in a variety of colors and innovative effects.
